Living my best life đ
I remember when I was a young teenager and all I ever wanted was for life to hurry up and get better.
I would wish my days away, wanting school to be over, wanting the weekend to come, wanting my shifts at McDonaldâs to be over.
Safe to say there wasnât anything I was really enjoying about my life when I was growing up. The only thing I loved was my nieces and nephews, brothers and sisters. I only wanted to do well in school and to get a good job to show my siblings that if I can do it they can too.
I definitely had some success when I was younger in my studies and work but now everything is very different.
I have two daughters, planning on homeschooling and my success is now in how good of a parent I am, and how close I am to God.
Keeping my kids safe, making sure they learn everything they have to know while also having fun.
I wish younger me could see just how happy I am now. When I look at my life today I am in awe of God and how He removed me from people and situations I never thought I would get away from.
I am in another season of pruning, I see God working in every single circumstance and making a way for me and my family.
My community is growing even though itâs small right now, I know God has a plan for good for me and my family. Our kids are thriving and our home brings comfort đ
I find peace through the Lord âď¸
âThen you will experience Godâs peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.â
